『すべてがＦになる』の漫画化作品を読んでいたので、続編として購入しました。
確かに「そこらへんにはない絵」ではあって、その意味ではすごいと素直に感心するのですが、ストーリーの面で端折ってあるところが多すぎるのが不満です。
あれ、こんなんだったっけ？もっと難しいんじゃなかったっけ？これじゃごく普通の「推理マンガ」じゃないか。
そういう印象でした。
魅力的な人物がいて、事件がおきて、調べたら奇妙な点が見つかって、空前の謎にみんなが頭をひねって、過去の出来事や人間関係の中からヒントと新しい謎が同時に見つかったりして、でも最後には我らが主人公がそのものすごい頭脳で謎をすっぱりと解く！
うーん、なんか違うなぁ。
この作品の原作小説の面白いところはそういう「王道」「約束」「お決まりの展開」の部分ではなくて、次々に仮説が立てられては捨てられていくそのプロセスだったはずです。
間違いだけれど魅力的な「別解」が生み出されては「それはここが間違いだよ」と指摘されて消えていく。そのいわば「科学の実況中継」がエキサイティングだったのに、漫画ではそれが少なすぎたように感じます。
もちろん、僕の判断には個人的な嗜好が多分に含まれているでしょう。また、そんなのを漫画で表現するのは技術的にとても難しいことなのだろうとも思います。端折られたのは漫画化にあたって賢明な判断だったのかもしれません。
しかし、だとしても「惜しいなぁ」という感じがぬぐえないのです。

とはいえ、十分面白いので評価は星３つ。

この人による「すべてがＦになる」は小説の魅力を
見事に伝えていました．

そして今回は，２作目の「冷たい密室と博士たち」

見事にかけているとは思いますが，少しボリューム的に
足りないような感じを受けます．

確かに元の小説もそんなに分厚い内容ではないのですが，
もう少しボリュームがあってもいいんじゃないかと．

結論として絵もきれいになっていますし，
全体的に見て素晴らしくまとまっていると思います．
ただボリューム不足で減点１の星４つ．

森博嗣氏の同名小説の漫画化作品第２弾。
全体として誌面が白い感は否み得ないが、前作以上に絵がこなれていて美しい。

原作を読んだ後にこの作品を読むと、ポリューム感が足りないように感じもするが
それは全体的にすっきりと纏められているという事でもある。
しかしあまりにも綺麗に纏められ、無駄が省かれ洗練されている弊害からか、
行間を読む楽しさや、１つの不可解な点について何度も何度も
再考しては仮説を捨てていくそのプロットが省かれ、急展開に話が進み、
読者の介在する余地が無くなっている感もある。

何にせよ優れた出来の作品であり、森氏のS＆Mシリーズの漫画化の
続編を期待したいころである。
