山本 康稔
1948年東京都生れ。理学療法士。社会医学技術学院卒。東京都立広尾病院・三愛会伊藤病院・多摩丘陵病院・東都リハビリテーション学院・高根台病院を経て、東京天使病院リハビリテーション科部長。併せて、江戸川医療専門学校副学校長(兼務)。また、社団法人日本理学療法士協会職能局医療保険部長。社団法人東京都理学療法士会理事、広報局長。社会福祉法人嘉祥会理事。1997年より、動作介助研究会を主宰

先日、東京ビックサイトで開かれていた福祉用具の展示会で、この本の表紙にのってある動作介助（ベッドサイドから車椅子への移乗の全介助）を実際に教えていただいたのですが・・これがもうすごく楽な方法でした！
てこの原理を利用した方法なのですが、一般的に知られている方法でやるよりもはるかに楽だしリスクが少なく感じました。やり方もすごく簡単なのですぐにできます。
いつも自分より体格の大きい人を介助するときに、上手く動かせず自分の腰を痛めたりしていた私なのですが、この方法を利用すれば腰痛を避けられそうに思いました。
また介助される側にとってもすごく楽な方法なので覚えて損は無いと思います！

　介助の方法は、従来からあまり変化がないように思われていますが、それだけに現場のスタッフにおいても「腰痛」に悩まされている人もいっこうに減りません。

　ですが、この本は違います。中身が新しいし、コンセプトがしっかりしているので役立ちます。

　本書は、寝返りからトランスファーまでをそれぞれについて細分化し、その対象者の能力に合わせて説明しながら、介助者・対象者にとって「優しい介助」になるよう解説しています。
併せてDVDも付属しているので、それを見ながら練習すればもっとイメージができるようになっています。
　巻末にはエビデンスへの取り組みも紹介されているので、興味深いと思います。

　本テキストは、新しい介助方法の提案だと思いました。
