正直な和田さんの体験や気持ちが書かれていて、すんなりと読むことができました。
よくありがちな幸せルールの本と言ってしまえばそれまでですが、ここまでご自分の体験をさらけ出してしまえる程、和田さんは今が幸せなんだろうなと感じました。
一読の価値はあると思います。

幸せを見つけるのでなく、幸せを感じることのできる人が幸せになる。幸せはいつでもすぐ近くにある。その幸せを感じることができるようになるのは、普段からどのように心がけて生活をしたらいいか。そんなことが書いてあるように思えます。もちろんそんな堅苦しい本ではありません。どちらかというと著者の経験を基にしたエッセイ集です。私を含め、いまいち普段の生活に幸せを感じることができない人向けの、著者からの熱いメッセージのように思えます。

著者が今までの人生で、どんな風に幸せのレシピを学んできたかが書かれています。
とっても学びの多い人生です。人生フル活用している感じ。
私はこんなに学んできたかな？と考えさせられました。

営業で成功した女性のイメージとはかけ離れているような一面を見せてくれます。
家に1人でいるのが好きだったり、とても優柔不断だったり。
昔は、おとなしくて、とろくて、どんくさい子だったとか。
そんな普通の女性でも、頑張れば仕事もできるようになるし、こんなに幸せになれるんだよ、と教えてくれます。
ほんわか、心あたたまるお話を読みたい方におすすめ。
私は『息を吸って吐くように…』の方がシンプルで好きです。

個人的に1番印象に残ったのは、著者の友人ゆきさんのお話。
「一度東京に住みたい」「英語をマスターしたい」
と、突然仕事をやめて東京に来て、外人宅での住み込みのお手伝いさんのバイトをみつけ、
さらには、そこでデンマーク人の彼もみつけ、デンマークに帰った彼を追って行き、結婚してしまった
というバイタリティーあふれる人。英語もデンマーク語もぺらぺらになって、幸せもつかんだ。
こういう素晴らしい人の話って、いくつでも聞きたいですね☆
とっても、元気をもらえます。
え、そんな単純な理由でいいんだ、
人生難しく考える必要ないんじゃない？って。
1度の人生なんだから、やってみたいことはやらなきゃ損かもね、って思えました。
