40年前の東京が舞台。
3億円事件にかかわった登場人物たちの淡い青春時代を描く作品。
主人公の切ない恋が印象的。
事件後から最後のほうへは10年後、20数年後と急に時間が進んでしまったが、
もう少し丁寧に描くなり、もうちょい工夫してもよかったかなと感じた。

1968年、東京で現金輸送車が襲われ
3億円が強奪された。
犯人は捕まらないまま、事件は時効を迎えた。。
実際にあった事件をモチーフに、
その実行犯であるという少女の手記という形をとって
少女の初恋を描く、恋愛小説。

学生運動、警察との暴動、お酒やタバコ。
薄暗く、暴力的な時代背景のまっただなか、
みすずは仲間の一人に計画をもちかけられた。
自身を厭う親戚に育てられたみすずは、
自分を特別に扱う彼に心ひかれ、その計画に乗るが。。

学生紛争の時代というのは苦手なのですが
この本の文体は重くなく、クセのない、読みやすいものでした。
テーマもタイトルどおり、みすずの「初恋」を描いたもので
強盗事件は彼女の思い出のひとつでしかありません。
成功した事件の犯人手記という形をとっているにも関わらず
犯行の成功の喜びも、計画の緊迫すらほとんど描かれません。
終始一貫した哀切を感じる文章は、ただ
みすずの孤独と、ひとときの出来事を描き出しています。

ドラマチックでスリリングな展開を読む前から期待をしていましたが。
予想を裏切るなよなよしさに拍子抜けしました。
触れ込みのようなリアル感がなく、実際にあった事件を元に物語に厚味を加えただけのように思います。
