小学4年生からとなっているが、
たしかに論理的な考え方をすばやく身につけるにはこの年頃からはじめるのが、
ちょうどいいだろう。
ここまで、１、２と二冊やったわけだが、終わった感想として、
即効性もあるということ。
ただし、短期間で仕上げないと効果は半減すると思われる。


関西では、中学入試の統一日まで90日をきったわけだが、
6年生で、国語に悩む受験生には、ぜひ薦めたい。
今からでも絶対間に合う。
塾のテキストより、このシリーズ4までを仕上げるほうが成績に直結するはず。
ただし、国語のテキストではないので、問題数が非常に少ない。
だから、読解力の問題集を1冊やる必要があると思う。

　国語は一番成績が伸びにくい科目と言われてきました。しかし出口先生曰く、問題文の中に全ての答えが書いているので、きちんと、読み解く力があれば満点をとることも可能なのです。

　この「新日本語トレーニング」は小学４年生以上をターゲットとして書かれています。この年頃は言語習得に大きな個人差があります。そのため学校の授業についていけないお子様もでてきます。まず、この「新日本語トレーニング」で国語の基礎となる日本語の力を身につけると、学校の国語が非常に楽しくなってきます。また国語だけでなく、算数や理科、社会など他の科目にも興味が出てきます。

本書はご存知のように大学受験における現代文・小論文の分野で名を馳せている出口氏と家庭教師のトライのコラボレーションである。

氏の「論理エンジン」をベースにトライの「対話教授法」を採用することにより、前作『出口汪の日本語トレーニング・プリント 』を超えた完成度になっている。

すなわち、母・姉・弟が、お笑いよろしくそれぞれ教師・ツッコミ・ボケの役割を好演し、それが正確に読解する上での着眼点やヒントを与えているのだ。
さらにその掛け合いが一層学習者の好奇心を刺激し、レイアウトも含め格段に理解しやすい構成になっている。

とは言うものの、言語能力の発達した（国語力のある）小学４年生であれば概ね独習可能であるが、
文章を読むのに抵抗のあるお子さんが、解説を活用し理解しながら独習するのは難しいかも知れない。指導者と一緒に楽しみながら学習するのが望ましい。
可能なら下見にて確認されたし。

本冊では、芥川龍之介の名作『蜘蛛の糸』と『杜子春』を問題文の題材に、「文章の要点」や「長い文の要点」、「正確な文章を書く」、「接続語と指示語」など
の基礎についてトレーニングしながら学ぶ。

周知のように、国語に限らず英語（言語全般）においても正確に読めなければ、正確には書けない。
本冊では正確に読解した上で要点を押えながら正確な文章を書けるようになることを主な狙いとしている。

国語（現代文）が気になる高校・大学・公務員受験生のみならず論理的思考力の基礎を養成したい全ての方に手にしてもらいたいシリーズである。

尚、苦手な小中学生は『国語なぞペー 』からはいるのも良いと思う。


余談だが、評者には、芥川氏はこの頃すでに自身をも含めて人間の存在理由を模索していたことが前記２点の作品を通じて覗えた。
