この本には受験に関する事だけではなく、生きて行く上で
大切な事も教えてくれる。また難関校に合格する人で初めから
頭が良い人はほんの数％であとはどんぐりの背比べ。つまりみん
な人の倍以上の努力して入学している現実も教えてくれている。
自分は頭が悪いと思いこんでいる人に一度読んでみて欲しい。
きっとそれは「あなたの妄想」である事を教えてくれるだろう。

まず根本的に、この本の信憑性ですが極めて疑わしいです。学歴も詐称に近いです(ここではあえて触れません)。やる気を出したい時に読むなら東大理3シリーズなどをオススメします。わたしが受験生だった時代(97〜99)のシリーズには「1日15時間」の勉強を普通にしてた人間が毎シリーズ2〜3人出てきます。実話の重み、結果の重み(東大理3に受かる人間でもこれくらい勉強するんだっと実感します)を考えたら、この本の唯一のモチベーションを上げるために評価出来ないこともない、も東大理3シリーズの足元にも及びません。

著者は代ゼミの有名講師。
喋り調子で主張をどんどん繰り広げている。主張に対する論証責任は曖昧。「これはこうなんだよ」という訴えていく形で話を繰り広げていくスタンスに最初はいい加減だなあと最初は感じていた。読み進めていくうちに、そのような主張が少しずつ精度があがっていく。読んでいくうちにただいい加減だと思われる話にも筋や軸を感じられるようになる。なかなかの役者。
まあどっちかというと、教育に関して何かしらの提言をしているというよりは気合入れろよ！って感じの本。この人の表現は教育者としての言葉としてはギャップがあるのでそこもまた面白い。
