河童を幻想小説（ファンタジー）だと思うと面白くないかもしれない。
一人の人間の独白（モノローグ）だと思うと、そこに興味を持つ人がいるかもしれない。
共感を持って読むか、そういう人もいるんですねという傍観者的に読むかは、その人の感覚によるかもしれません。
近代の古典として一度は読んでおきたい作品だと思います。
自分がいつか、他人には意味不明の独白をしているかもしれないことに気がつかないことがないようにか、意味を分かってくれる人がいるかもしれないことを期待してかは別にして。

「雛」はラストの描写が光る良い作品だと思うが
他がねぇ・・・。
芥川自身の内面を書き出すとドロドロした感じで
映画だとクローネンバーグ作品のようなグロ趣味っぽい
ある種の不快さを感じた。
「河童」もあまり良いファンタジーとは思えない。

「蜜柑」が好きで他のも読んでみようと手にとったのですが
この路線は苦手です。

　私の部屋に作家の顔写真があります。私の家の便所にも彼の作品冒頭部分があります。勿論私の本棚には彼の本があります。彼の文学を読めばきっと魅力に取り付かれることでしょう。河童を始めて読んだ時たくさんの事を発見しました。二回目に読んだ時、三回目、四回目、五回目・・・必ず何か新しいものを発見する事でしょう。そしてどうしてもっと早くこの作家にめぐり合えなかったものかと後悔するやもわかりません。是非この作家のとりこになることをお勧めします。　Ｍｉｚｕｋｉ.Ａ
