私は、こんなにも心温まるあたたかい話を読んだことがなかった。親が子を思う気持ちはこんなにも深いものなのかと愕然とする思いだった。 何故、クリスマスツリーには空の箱を飾るのか？ 何故、空でなければならないのか？ それには、とても深くあたたかい意味があったのだ。 是非、この本を読んであたたかい涙を流してほしい。

4年くらい前のちょうど今ごろ、一人目の子供も片言ことばを話すようになり、二人目の子供を授かったころ、毎日気持ちが不安定になり、すぐに怒ったり、意味もなく泣いていた私に、主人が買ってきてくれた本です。とてもさりげなく時間が流れていく話なのですが、何とも言えず心が落ち着き、温まるお話です。ぜひ、クリスマスのこの時期、皆さんも「温かい涙」、流してください。
