殺人事件の目撃で、物語は始まる。
そして、話が進めば進むほど混乱が深まる。殺したのは誰か、殺されたのは誰か、タイトルどおり、「みんな誰かを殺したい」のだが・・・。　単純な交換殺人ものかと思いきや、もっと話は複雑にからみあう。　
話を持ちかけた者が自首すれば終わる、というものではない。
誰が誰を殺したかったのか？そして誰を殺したのか、最後まで話はもつれていく。

横溝正史ミステリ大賞優秀賞だそうだが、必ずしも大賞でなかった理由もわかるような気もする。
テンポはいいが、どんでん返しがありすぎて、ストーリーを追うのがやっとになり、あまり考える余裕がなかった。
ただ、じっくりと読み込めばそれなりに考える点がありそうだ。

深く考えずに読み進む人には、逆におすすめかもしれない。

登場人物それぞれの哀れな物語が最悪の形でひとつの事件に交差する。
最後まで一気に読ませる手腕はなかなか。（といっても、読みやすい文章表現で話もかなり簡潔）
トリックのネタバレは心配ないと思いますが、テンポが良すぎるため登場人物に感情移入しにくく、読後の余韻はイマイチでした。

　ＴＶドラマ(高岡早紀主演)を観て、原作が読みたくなりました。　
　とにかく人間関係が複雑に絡み合っていて、非常に分かりにくいです。しかも犯人側の視点と推理側の視点も絡みあっているので、ＴＶで大体の事を知っていても理解するのが大変でした。もう少しシンプルにまとまらなかったのかな？とは思いましたが、まあ秀作と言えば秀作だと言えるとは思います。一度読んで損は無いと思いますよ。
