基本となる『指環』の演奏が欲しい。たとえば、良い歌手、
良い指揮者。そして、自然で奇をてらわない演奏。しかし、
それでいて、魅力に富んだ演奏。聞きあきが来ない演奏。
そして、本当に親しみのもてる演奏。
そういう演奏を求めている人にぴったりの演奏です。
バイロイト史上、最高の歌手たちが集った黄金時代。

その始まりともいえる、原点ともいえる、カイルベル
トのこの演奏には、戦後ワーグナー演奏史を飾る超重
要メンバーの多くが、登場します。その豪華さといえば
目もくらむばかり。その歌手たちは、若さでいっぱい。
彼らは、誠実、平明でありながら、非常に情熱的、人
間的暖かさをもつカイルベルトの指揮に支えられて、

ワーグナーの魅力をあますことなく示してくれ!ます。
このような演奏で、親しみを覚えれば、フルベンや
クナがやろうとしている。より神秘的な『指環』の
世界へも、より自然に入っていくことが出来るでし
ょう。
