以前に萩原さんがＮＨＫでうつの特集をしていたときに出演されていて、明るく話されていたのにこういう人も「うつ」なのかぁと思いながら見ていました。
それからしばらくして私の夫もうつになりました。本当に「うつ」は突然に、しかも普通に訪れるものなんですね・・。
うつの夫と一緒に暮らしている私は、日常どう接すればいいか分からず悩んでおりましたが、この本を読んで、本当に励まされました。自分を責めたこともありましたが、希望を持つことができました。
プレッシャーやストレスは、俳優さんに限ったことではなく、生きている以上たくさんあります。押しつぶされそうになっている夫を理解し受け止めてあげることに、決して特別な方法はいらないんですね。一緒に映画を観たり、楽しい会話を心がけたり、寄り添うことが最良なのだと、改めて気付きました。
この本を読んで、「うつ」と付き合うことに、なんだかちょっと自信をもてたような気がします。
