野球観戦用に購入しました。
万単位の高額な双眼鏡は要らない…だけど、オペラグラスじゃちょっと物足りない、という自分のニーズを見事に満たしてくれました。

家電量販店で置いてある安価のモデルは、いかにも双眼鏡！というデザインが多く(^^;
どうも好きになれなかったのですが、こちらは見た目にもシンプルなイメージで気に入ってます。
加えて軽量でコンパクト。バッグに入れても荷物にならず、非常に使いやすいです。
逆に「小さすぎる！」という意見も、もしかしたら出てくるかもしれません。
欲を言えば、ネックストラップが付属だともっと嬉しかったかも…。

当初は３０倍以上の高倍率ズームの双眼鏡も検討していましたが
「手ブレしやすいし、視界が暗くなる。スポーツ観戦なら尚更適さない」という話を聞き、固定倍率に。
最初は迷いましたが、思いとどまって正解でした(笑)
元々６倍〜１０倍くらいの倍率のモデルが手持ちでも見やすく、様々なシチュエーションに対応しやすい範囲だそうです。

他のモデルと比較した訳ではないので星は４つにしていますが、個人的には満足しています(^^)

価格の割に大満足の性能でした。
小口径・単層コーティングなど、高級機種に比べればもちろん劣る部分はありますが
それでも、十二分にクリアな視界が得られます。
光学系も8倍と無理が無い倍率なので、明るさも十分だと感じました。
コンパクト・軽量と価格の割には十分な性能を持っていると感じました。

倍率３倍程度の折りたたみ型の製品は、実用的ではありませんでした。コンサートやスポーツ観戦では８〜１０倍程度が扱いやすいと思います。３０倍以上ともなるとブレが酷く、明るい高価なレンズが必要でしょう。この製品は思っていた以上にコンパクトで、国産一流メーカーのレンズに負けないぐらいに明るいです。ストラップの穴がありますので（当然携帯電話を購入した時についているようなストラップも付属品になっていましたが）、首にかけるストラップを購入し、使用しましたが重さも気になりません。レンズカバーが安価な感じですが、この価格では仕方ないでしょう。
