中級者にはかなり重宝する一冊です。
旧バージョンのＶＢユーザにとって、VB.NETで苦労するのは「親クラスは何？」でしょう。
処理の目的別に、豊富なサンプルコードと共に解説する本書は、そんなユーザにとって、.NETへの敷居を大幅に引き下げてくれます。

サンプルコードには必然的に関連するクラスが使用されますので「この場合はこっちのクラスを使うのか」とか「これの定数はこのクラスに定義されているんだな」という使い方ができるため、.NETに慣れてからも結構使えます。

特にＭＳから提供されている.NETのヘルプが旧ＶＢに比べて使いにくい（サンプルが少ない＆関連付けが貧弱）ため、その不足情報を補うために本書を活用すると.NET開発の効率が上がります。
ただし、本の構成上、初めてプログラ!ムする人にとっては、本書を買う前に初心者向けの本を一冊読んでから、の方が分かり易いです。

VisualBasic.NETのプログラミングについて、開発のヒントとなるサンプルコードが目的別に書かれている。まさに実用的な解説書だ。机に置いていていつでも引けるようにするのもいいし、目的がはっきりしなくとも通勤時間にぱらぱらと眺めるのもいいだろう。なるほど、こんなことができるのか、と目から鱗が取れるところがたくさんある。この本にはASP.NETについてのTipsも書かれているが、個人的にはASP.NETについてだけ、より詳しく書かれたこのような書籍があれば最高なのだが。ITフロンティアさん、秀和さん、お願いします。

プロパティ、メソッド、イベント、関数･･･とにかく知っておかなけければ多いことがあり過ぎのWindowsプログラミングです。

アプリケーションを組む度に違う壁にぶつかり、丸1日その解決方法を調べるだけで終わったりします。そんなときに重宝するのがこの本です。大体のTipsは載っています。先ずこの本でサッと調べてみて、載っていなければVBのヘルプを見てみる。私みたいな無精な人間には打って付けです。

最近はC#.NETを使っているので、逆引き大全のC#.NET版が出ないかと思っている今日このごろです。
