カバーアルバムで買ったのは徳永英明さんの「VOCALIST」。
聞いてて面白いなと思ったのがきっかけでした。
そして今回は中村あゆみさんの「VOICE U tears」。
これは友達に勧められました。
知っている曲から、聞いたことはあるけど誰の曲なんだろう、
な曲まで満載でとても満足させてもらいました。
中村さんの声はとても特徴的で、
男性の歌でも女性の歌に聞こえたり、
「この曲は本人の歌じゃないのかな？」
と思う歌が何曲かあって、やっぱり歌う人が変わると、
歌い手さんの特徴が際立って、別の曲に聞こえます。
私たちがカラオケで歌うのとは訳が違いますね。

カバーアルバムで男性が女性の歌を歌ったり、
女性が男性の曲を歌ったり色々聞いてるほうですが、
いつも思うことは、歌う人によって歌のイメージ、
色がやっぱり変わるんだなという事。

中村あゆみさんの「VOICE II tears」もそのひとつ。
彼女のハスキーボイスとパワフルな歌声は活かしつつ、
優しいバラードは癒しと色っぽさがとても心地良い。

特徴的だなと思ったのが、10曲目の「愛唄」。
彼女のハスキーボイスとロックテイストが
見事に合っていたと思う。
他の曲も「中村あゆみの歌」と言える特徴が満載で
全体的に満足のする一枚でした。

人に勧めたくなるアルバムです。
