エアロスミスに興味があるんだけどどれから聴けばいいかわからないって人にオススメの一枚。
長い歴史を持つエアロの曲を一通り聴くことができます。
特に、アルマゲドンの主題歌の「I Don't Want To Miss A Thing」や、
キムタク主演のエンジンの主題歌の「Angel」、
そしてさんま御殿でも使われている「Walk This Way」、
CM曲に使われていた「Jaded」なども収録されているので、
聴きたかったあの曲が収録されてないってことはないでしょう。
ということでこのアルバムでエアロにハマって、
好きな曲が入っているオリジナルアルバムなんかを聴いちゃってください。

これまでにもレーベル別のベストアルバムは何枚か出している彼らですが、レーベルの壁を超えて出された初のコンプリートベストです。従って70年代のヤンチャ時代~80年代の復活~90年代以降のトップバンド時代まで、人気下降の１時期を除き、代表曲がバランスよく配されています。ベスト盤の常で、○○が入っていないという声もあると思いますが（個人的には人気下降期のリメンバーが好きなんですが）逆に、漏れがちなヤンチャ期の名曲、復活のきっかけとなったRUNDMCのカバー曲、発売当時の最新ヒット曲スパイダーマン、ライブ収録曲が入っていたりと、並のベスト盤にはないサービスあふれる選曲に満足した１枚でした。

彼らの音楽の変化も大きいので、このベストアルバムをきっかけに、好きな時代のエアロ??オリジナルを買われればよいのではないでしょうか。そういった使い方ができるエアロ入門に最適のベストアルバムになっていると思います。

これまでも何枚かＢＥＳＴアルバムを出しているエアロですが、レーベルの壁を超えて出された初のＢＥＳＴです。エアロほど、ヒット曲・名曲の多いバンドになるとファン全員が満足する選曲は難しいと思いますが、個人的には初期の名曲、彼らの復活のきっかけとなったRUNDMCのウオークディスウエイ、ライブ音源、最新のスパイダーマン等、人気下降期を除き、ほぼ彼らの全時代に渡るバラエティに富んだ選曲になっており、エアロ入門には最適のアルバムだと思います。このアルバムをきっかけに気に入った時代のエアロのアルバムを聴くと良いのではないでしょうか。
