このシリーズの特徴でしょうが、接着剤なしで、簡単に組み立てられるし、色を塗らなくても、最初から部品が鮮やかに色がつけられているので、組み上げ後の仕上がりが、感動的です。とても満足できます。ガンタンクは、足がなく、脚部がキャタピラなのが、一番の特徴だと思いますが、飾るのに安定感もあり、完成後のオブジェとしての扱いも楽です。私の場合、３時間ほどで完成させたと思います。何と言っても、ガンタンクというのは、異形のキャラクターで、毎日この不思議な造形を眺めて味わっています。場所もそれほどとらないし、インテリアとして、どうでしょう。

色分け、プロポーションは素晴らしいし、クリアーパーツはアンダーゲートの採用で、切り取った跡が目立ちません。良いこと尽くしなのですが、やはり下半身がキャタピラのため、どうしてもポーズが限られてしまいます。まあ、その辺りはガンタンクへの愛でフォローするしかないかと（笑）。
なお、説明書などには書かれていませんが、腰のポリキャップがガンダム、ガンキャノンと共通なので、互いのＡ、Ｂパーツを入れ替えて遊べますよ。

ケロロ軍曹も語っているように、ハヤト・コバヤシであるはずのガンナーが大きすぎるのは確かです。しかし、それ以外は非常に良くできています。HGUCのガンダム、ガンキャノン、ガンタンクはどれもよくできているので連邦軍セットとしてオススメ。
