ボーカルもギターも最高です。
通勤中、ヘビーローテーション状態です。
オリジナルもカバーもどちらもスバラシイ！！
ギター≪エレアコ（ナイロン弦）≫のテクは凄過ぎ。
でも聴いていてぜんぜん疲れないんですよね。
高度なテクをさらりとこなしている感じです。
ボーカルは是非、直接聴いて確かめて！！
艶のある高音、深みのある低音、どれをとってもイイ感じです。
ちなみに、音域が３オクターブ半あるらしいです（^^;）

この間、ミニライブで接近遭遇しました。
このアルバムは前から持っていたのですが、
録音のもどかしさを感じます。

いや、それと自分の再生系の未熟さを実感するのです。
私の調整用のアルバムです。

ＦＡＫｉＥ最高！

あるステレオの試聴会で本CD収録のファンタシーが演奏され、そのすばらしさに圧倒されて即、購入した。インディーレーベルなので扱ってるお店が限定されていると言われたけど、アマゾンで何の支障もなく入手した。カバーに東洋人の顔が写っていて「あれ？」と思い、解説を読んで驚いた。この歌手は日本人なんだ。英語の発音から全然そんな風には感じられなかった。
最初は期待通りすげー。でも曲が進むにつれ、段々ギターの絶大なうまさに比べてボーカルに不満がでてき始めた。曲によってはボーカルが邪魔とまで感じられた。贅沢な話だが、このボーカルには、フォークシンガーだったら不満を感じないかも知れないが（現に日本語の曲には不自然さを感じない。ただしオリジナル曲なので、たいした感動もない。ただギターのうまさが際立つだけ）、確かに高域は延びきっているものの、ジャズボーカルに必要な低音の魅力に欠けるのです。つまりギターに比べて、歌声が薄く聞こえるのです。こんなぶったまげるような伴奏者と一緒でなかったら、日本人で久々にすごい可能性を感じさせるジャズシンガー登場と拍手してもおかしくない程の実力なのだが、そんな不満を感じるのは、伴奏のギターにあまりに完璧に感動してしまうので、ボーカルにも同様な完璧さを求めてしまうからだと思う。
ファンタシーのように元々ボーカル曲はまだ良い。元々、楽器の曲ではボーカルが不必要に感じられ、その抜群なギター演奏だけを聞きたい欲求に駆られた。特にスペインでは、ボーカルをはずして、同じ曲ですばらしい演奏を披露している渡辺香津美に加わってもらってギターデュオだったらと願ったくらいだ。是非、香津美とのデュオアルバムやコンサートを実現して欲しい。
でもFAKiEのライブには絶対行こうと思う。
