All over the world cities are facing major social, environmental and planning problems which compete for scarce resources, and which threaten to tear at their foundations. This work contains papers presented at the First International Conference on Urban Regeneration and Sustainability. The contributions come from professionals and practitioners in a wide range of disciplines and aim to identify the best policies for a viable urban environment in the 21st century.
