This book made for a great read which I completed on a Shabbos afternoon. The history is very well organized and each chapter blends into the next but yet remains its own identity. Anyone looking for a recent history of South African Jewry as a whole and not famous individuals this book is for you. The only part I disapproved of was the ending that made it sound like Orthodox Jews and the Baal Teshuva movement in South Africa is a negative thing.
