After two unsuccessful wars in Vietnam and Iraq, American spirit was in a deep depression. FDR (Franklin Roosevelt) successfully managed to drag America out of the Great Depression with his brave "New Deal" and "Four Freedom" speech. Barack Obama (BHO) is now trying to drag the American spirit out of the current deep depression with his "Audacity of Hope" to revive a life-long dream of his own father's, Martin Luther King's and the rest of American people's.
This audacity is a big picture, a frame work, telling us how we could realize our dream, perhaps leaving the detail in the more veteran (experienced) hands of Hillary Clinton who is most likely to run for the next US vice-president under the magnetic and stylish command of Barack Obama, a new brave world leader.
To understand how America and the rest of the world can be transformed in a better sense, you will find an outline of his brave and persuasive plan in this book.
For those who are struggling with this detailed book, I would recommend to read a digested book, "YES WE CAN" by Garen Thomas. She made this excellent book of around 200 pages for children, summarizing from two books, "Dreams from My Father" and "Obama: from Promise to Power". I am sure both adults and children would enjoy this book. I finished reading it in a half day. It was written in a plain English.
