トイストーリー1・2の設定画や絵コンテなどを100枚に厳選したポストカード集です。(正確に言うと3の絵は2枚程あります)絵コンテ以外にもバズやウッディ、ジェシーなどの初期設定画もあり、マニアにはたまらんものだと思います!バズの初期設定がかわいかったり、ウッディの初期設定がなかなかエライ顔をしていたりと笑えますよ〜。トイストーリーファンなら持っていて損はないですね。

This set of 100 postcards contains art from all the three Toy Story movies. Most of them are storyboards, character designs and the rest are sketches, pastels lighting studies. They are all pretty nice. When you lay them all out, you'll see a lot of white (with drawings of course) because a lot of storyboards are featured.
You'll see a few familiar pieces of art if you have the book Toy Story The Art and Making of the Animated Film. There are some new ones also, mainly from Toy Story 2 since there wasn't any art book released for the sequel. So you'll get to see character designs for Jessie, Stinky Pete and Bullseye.
I counted two postcards that had art from Toy Story 3, one of which is a big pastel "3". That's a far cry from the product description "the set will feature an exclusive selection of art from the highly anticipated Toy Story 3". So much for marketing speak.
The cutting of these postcards aren't perfect in the sense that they aren't all of equal size. Some are cut about 1mm off. Not a big deal but I do like every piece to be of equal size. I also have The Art of Pixar: 100 Collectible Postcards which are cut perfectly.
If you're a big Pixar fan, this is for you. If you're looking to buy one as a gift, I would recommend "The Art of Pixar: 100 Collectible Postcards".

Great Collectible for the Toy Story Fan!

These are wonderful postcards. They measure approx. 5.5" x 3.75" each. The front of each card features some type of concept art - some sketches, some paintings, some computer-generated. The back of each card states the subject, the artist and the year in which the art was created. The postcards would be great for a variety of things, including scrapbooking or collecting autographs. Of course, it would also be cool to send these out to people you know - they are postcards!
I should mention that only two of the hundred cards are related to Toy Story 3. The rest of the cards are from the first two movies.
All 100 postcards come in a beautiful collectible box which itself is a work of art. Overall, this is one of the nicest pieces of movie memorabilia that I own, and it is available at a relatively low price.

If you love Pixar or animation in general this is for you!
I am a HUGE Toy Story fan so I had to buy this as soon as it came out. It has wonderful postcards revealing stills, "Andy's" drawings of the toys, simple sketches, different ways the character would've looked among other things.
Overall, a great product.
