I bought a series of these Appleville books to read with my Grandson Ethan.
I really searched for books that had characters and situations I thought my grandson would enjoy and relate to and I'm so thrilled to say that Ethan loves these books.
When I was a child I loved books that had a continuing story and adventures that I could go on in my imagination with the characters in the books like Nancy Drew or Anne of Green Gables.
What I love about these "Chapter books" as Ethan calls them is the books allow you to read as much or as little as the child wants to and the stories bring the child back to them again and again.
Ethan loves to read period! and he told me just last night that he really loves the Appleville books!!!

We love this series of books. My 6 year old loves to read them. The book is easy to read and comprehend.
