いいですね。もう2曲目の煌びやかに燃え上がるところは、恍惚な眩さをみます。轟音は、自然や大地そのものが動き出す広がりのあるそれでした。そして3曲目の星が瞬くような音も、素直に身にしみてきます。夜空が自分の中に入ってきたのか自分が宇宙にトリップしたのか、限りなく脳に映像を喚起する音こそシガー・ロスの特徴。その良さは、今作もありありと息づいていることは間違いないようです。

そして「Takk」の特徴は、祝福やその余韻の波がさざめいているような温もりが、嬉しいです。芸術は抽象の中に絶望を入れられると、それが増幅して夜押し寄せてきますが、逆に明るさや希望のようなものが表れると、力を持たせてくれます。

そして今作も、よくいわれる通り、思考を働かせたくなるインテリジェンスさが溢れているんですが、しかしそれではおっつかず、やはりこころの感じるままに、その瞬間・刹那に輝く音の連続を見逃さずに鑑賞する方が、この音楽を自分のものに出きるのでしょう。光と闇が交叉する芸術作品だった前作から、よりヒューマンな温かみを持って提供されたのが今作でした。

神々しさ漂う2005年リリースの本当に素晴らしいアルバムです.
Sigur Ros はスタジオ録音もライブの演出も素敵です.
公式サイトでPVや一部の曲が置いてあるのも素敵です.
来日ライブを見た人は本当に幸せだと思います.

このアルバムは全編で本当に充実しています.
しいてあげるとすれば唯一の欠点は
冒頭の 1. 感極まる2. 喜び溢れる3. 余韻に浸る4 の流れが余りにも凄すぎて
まだまだ素敵な曲が後半いっぱいあるのに満足しすぎてしまうことでしょうか....

逆に5から聞いてリピートして1〜4に帰ってくるのも乙だったりしますね

Sigur Rosの作品を買うのはこれが初めてということで
前作、前々作と比較して評価するのは出来ませんが
やはり装丁も含め非常に完成度の高い作品に感じます。

『物語』ではなく『風景』を描き出すような音に、
単純な感動ではない感情の波が湧き上がるよう。
括りとしては"ポスト・ロック"ということですが、
『風景』を描く音楽ってのはある意味ではもっとも
始原的で、シンプルな欲求によるものなのかも？

個人的な感想としては、仰々しく構える必要もなく
音が描き出す世界観にすんなりと浸れる良い作品。
そして是非とも他作品にも手を出したくなる一枚です。
