　最初から浮遊感あふれるピアノ作品で始まる。テイトウワとか今井美樹など坂本作品ではおなじみの顔ぶれの参加も作品をリラックスした暖かい雰囲気にしている。緊張感あふれる激しい曲はなくて、おしゃれで部屋の中で流しっぱなしにしても、うるさくない音楽でしめられている。教授でなくても作れるんじゃと思いつつ、でもやっぱり教授しか作れない世界です。

2.ムーヴィング・オン　が当時のパルコのＣＭにクライスラービルの映像と共に使われたせいか、当時の、まだ危険だった頃のニューヨークの雰囲気を思い出させるアルバムである。

他にラップやＲ＆Ｂを意識した曲もあり、ニューヨークの香りがする反面、ボサノバ調の曲もあるのだが、これまたやっぱり不思議とニューヨークの香りがするのである。

世界中のものが何でも揃う街、世界中の人が憧れる街、ニューヨークを坂本が音楽にすればこんな音になるのだろう。

　本気で良質のPOPを作ろうとしていた頃の教授作品です。「千のナイフ」とか「riot in lagos」とか好きな人にとっては、売れ線狙いの（しかもあんま狙えてない）甘っちょろい作品なのだろうけど、結構良いです。"今こんな感じが最先端のカルチャーで流行ってます"って嬉々として言っちゃうような、一世代前のニューヨーク在住のアーティストがもつ適度なダサさが「教授POP」のよいところでしょうな。ガイジンでも日本人でもないPOPに、親近感沸くってか、聞いてて安心できる。

　ジャケも微妙にダサい。変な羽毛にくるまれてる変な教授、ウケる。
