ホーンアレンジが他のアルバムに比べると比率高い。曲の出来、バンドのまとまり、アレンジ、全曲全開な感じがする。癌になる前の最期のアルバムになるのかな？すごく元気な印象す。

"Waitting in vain"に代表されるバラード路線が続いた後のアルバム。「Exodus」に比べるとシンプルで軽快な感じの曲が多く、アルバム全体のまとまりも良いです。
"Zimbabwe"、"Ride natty ride"のようなポップな曲調が耳に残りますが、"Survival"や"Wake up and live"などのメッセージも熱いです。
個人的には、"Babylon system"中でのI Threesが聴かせる"Tell the children the truth"の絶妙なコーラスにシビれます。
ボブ・マーリーの最初の１枚としては「Live」や「Exdous」の方が良いと思いますが、捨て曲無しの傑作だと思います。
