ストーンズのアルバムの中ではもっとも泣ける作品だと思う。
2.Sway, 3.Wild Horses, 7.I Got The Blues
と泥臭さと哀愁が感じられる名曲揃いです。
もちろんノリノリの1.Brown Sugarや
ツインギターの不思議な陶酔感にハマル6.Bitch
静から動へリフの美しさも目立つ8.Sister Morphin

など素晴らしい曲ばかりです。オススメです！

"Brown Sugar"が超有名曲なわけですが、他の曲もバラィティ豊かで、かつ、全ての曲で、その試みが上手くいっている気がします。この時期には他にも傑作がありますが、ストーンズの魅力が見事に凝縮している1枚として、他の傑作以上のアルバムだと思います。
キースのコーラスもカッコいい"Sway"は歌詞も含めて聴けば聴くほど気に入ってくるいぶし銀の曲。"Wild Horses"はアコースティック・ギターが美しい名バラード。ライブでも度々演奏される"Bitch"は2本のギターを聴いているとズブズブと曲に引き込まれていくような錯覚すら覚えます。ポップな曲調の"Dead Flowers"は誰でもすぐに気に入る曲でしょう。
高校1年の時に初めて購入したアルバムで、15年以上聴いていることになりますが、未だに飽きることなく愛聴している大好きなアルバムです。

…この名盤に対して、今更余計な説明は不要でしょう。
代名詞的名曲「Brown Sugar」で幕を開け、黒い呪詛的グルーヴに満ち満ちた２〜５曲目までのひとつの流れが最高です。そして必殺の「Bitch」で幕を開けるＢ面も秀曲揃い。

ちなみに２２日の東京ドーム公演行ってきました。なんと！「Sway」演りました！ひぇ〜〜、、、最っ高！！
※これから観に行かれる方、要チェックです。
