ＮＹ郊外にある、現地ではスーパーのディズニーランドとの誉れ高い、スチュー・レオナルドの経営者、まさにスチュー・レオナルド氏の考案するレシピ集。伝統的なアメリカの家庭料理を、サラダ、野菜料理、肉料理、パスタ、スイーツなどジャンル別に計300種紹介しています。作り方はややこしくなく（何たってアメリカ料理ですから）、見開き２Ｐの左にきれいな写真、右にレシピと軽量が掲載。サルサスープなど、日本では作り方があまり知られていない料理もふんだんにあって、どれもこれも簡単にできるのが嬉しい。

My family and I love Stew Leonards. We shop at Stews every week to get the the freshed produce, meats and of course dairy. We also love the prepared foods that they have so when I saw this cookbook, I had to have it so that I can cook some of our favorite selections at home.
The cookbook includes so many delicous selections. Some of my favorites include - Carmelized Onion Quesadillas, California Guacamole Dip, Italian Eggplant Rollatini, Pizza Pot Pie, Tuscan Pork Roast, and of course Chicken Marsala. The book contains tons of recipes that are great for entertaining. It is broken down into the following sections:
Appetizers
Salads and Vegetables
Pasta, Soups, and Vegetarian Dishes
Beef, Veal, and Pork
Chicken and Turkey
Fish and Shellfish
Sweets and Treats
Breakfasts and Brunches
The book also includes a section entitled "Menus for all Occasions" that gives sample menus for everything from a Mother's Day Brunch to a Romantic Dinner. If you love Stews or if you just love entertaining - you have to have this book! It also makes a great gift!
