The Pop Groupともかかわりを持つ、ブリストル産のニュー・ウェイヴ〜ポスト・パンクに連なるバンドの、唯一正式にリリースされた作品の再発。
資料性だけでも充分に高いが、音も迫力あるダブ・ファンクで、今でもまったく鑑賞に堪える……というか、今のロックバンドのサウンドよりも遥かに破壊力と創造性がある。
サックスが高らかに唸り、女性ヴォーカルが呪詛のように同じ言葉を繰り返し、ドラムが生み出すビートも強烈で、そして何よりダブ的処理（エコーなど）が加わることで、唯一無二の「異形のファンク」を創造している。
決して難解ではない。ビートとサックス、ギターのリフに身をゆだねていれば、白人の手による新解釈のグルーヴが体感できるはず。
ダンサブルで、少しだけポップで、何より聴いていて本当に気持ちいい。
