スタンダード曲のライブ盤。うねるように次第に盛り上がっていく。特にThe way you look tonightからThe old countryにかけて、会場のファンも一体となって盛り上がっていく様子が聴き取れる。The old countryの短調の渋い味がたまらないがナットアダレイの原曲ではどうなのだろう？きっと、キースならではのスパイスが含まれているのだろう。後に深化していく極限のメロディ美（I remember Cliford、 ブレイム・イット・オン・マイ・ユース、オーバー・ザ・レインボウ、等）の原形のようなものがToo young to go steadyで聴かれる

　キース特有の硬質な音がカッキリとハマった演奏により、スタンダードな選曲ながら緊張感がある。

　が、しかし。

　やっぱりウルサイのだ、この男（笑）。自分のピアノのフレーズに合わせて歌いながら演奏しているのだが、まあコレがかなりキテるテンションで大声で唸っている。彼のプレイ・スタイルがこうなのだからしようがないが、本盤ではまるでピアノとエッチ（＝プレイ）してるような激しい喘ぎ声が、聴く者を凍らせてくれる。誰か黙らせろよ、と（笑）。

　結果的に素晴らしい演奏が台無しになっており、録音エンジニアもさぞ頭を抱えたことだろう。有名なアルバムかもしれないけど、珍品に分類していい作品だと思う。本当に変なピアニストだよなあ。。
