4.0 out of 5 stars ちょっとだけ、ギタープレイヤー向けのＤＶＤ, 2005/9/21
前作「ドラマティックライブ」とは異なり、待望のプロモーションビデオ、ギターテクニック講座、そしてライブといったてんこ盛りの内容である。ファンなら買って損は無い。

本ＤＶＤにおいて、ギターの話やテクニック講座に割く時間は少なくないので、ギタープレイヤー以外は退屈だったり、ちょっと疎外感を感じるかもしれない。ギタープレイヤーには涙ものなのだが、全くギターに全く触らない人はどう感じるのだろう。

少し気になったのがギターテクニック講座で、確かにマルチアングルを駆使したわかりやすい内容なのだが、ＤＶＤにはコード進行もＴＡＢ譜も表示されない為、これだけをお手本に練習するのは効率が悪いと感じた。
どこを押さえているか完璧なテキストは必要なのではないだろうか。若しくはマルチアングルの一つをＴＡＢ譜にして、カラオケの字幕のように、済んだ部分は色が変化していくとか・・・。

今更言うまでもなく、押尾氏のテクニックはまさに超絶で、たとえ完璧な教材があっても修得できるかどうかは疑わしい。
しかしＤＶＤで押尾氏はタッピング等において「最初は鳴らんのやて」「絶対鳴る。がんばれ」と何度も真剣に言う。その言葉はやれるもんならやってみろ、という妙なプロ意識ではなく、本当に心の底からギターキッズに声援を送っているように見えた。
今まで練習したことのない、指板の上だけで両手を踊らすプレイを真剣に練習してみよう。と思った。

内容が多少ギタープレイヤー寄りなので、星４つ。

押尾コータローをコピーしたい人は
買ったほうがいいですよ。
HARD RAIN　戦場のメリークリスマスを
いきなりTAB譜を買ってコピーしようと
しましたがさっぱりわからないんですよ。
見たこともない記号とかがいっぱいあって・・。
それを、押尾さん自身が詳しく説明してくれるんです。
教え方もおもしろくてやる気が出ます。

ファイト！！とかライブDVDでも収録されてないですから
これだけでも買いですがね。これはホントかっこいい！！

普通のファンが観てつまらない、という事は無いと思いますが、このDVDは明らかにギター弾き向けですねえ。もちろん数多のギター弾きはCDを聴いても譜面を見ても訳がわからない特殊奏法の謎を解明するべく買うのでしょうが、いや、「戦争のメリークリスマス」なんか想像を絶する事をやっててびっくりです。誰もが超絶のテクニックを習得出来る訳ではないでしょうけど、押尾コータローの愛情溢れる説明を聴いてやる気を出さないギター弾きは居りますまい。押尾氏は幸運にも随分と良い先生達に（今やマイケル・ヘッジスの件など伝説ですが）恵まれたようですね。
