いつものやさしい"Wee Sing"シリーズのクリスマスバージョンです。
お馴染みのクリスマスソングが子どもたちをメインにした素直な歌声でつづられていて、この季節のBGMにはおすすめです。また、輪唱（５曲）や指遊び（7つ）も収録されているので、子どもと過ごすクリスマスにもいいですね。

考えてみるとクリスマスソングとはいっても、子供達も含めて、今巷で流行っているようなノリの歌でないと、やはりつまらないのかもしれません。
ですが、トラッドとか讃美歌が多く含まれているこのWee Sing For Christmasは、欧米で昔から慣れ親しまれてきたであろう歌に触れて慣れ親しむいい見本の一つだと思います。また、クリスマスの意味なども何となく感じ取れるのではないでしょうか。日本の子供達だと、単にクリスマス＝何かをプレゼントしてもらう絶好のチャンスと捕らえがちで、そのまま大人になってしまうのがちょっと寂しいと思うのです。別に宗教的な啓蒙どうこうとかいうのではなく、何となく、クリスマスって色々巷で騒ぐけれど、あ、こういうことなのか・・・と、感じ取れるかもしれません。
この中のいくつかは、私も英語の時間にネイティブの先生に教えてもらって教室で皆で歌ったことがあり、あまり日本では知られていないけれどあちらでは親しまれてきた歌に触れる機会が興味深く楽しかった思い出があります。
たぶん、英語を習ってあまり年数が経っていない頃の子でも、と言うか意外とその頃の子の方が却って、純粋にこれらを歌ったり遊んだりを楽しめるのではないかしら？また、あわせて一緒に歌っているうちに自然と、英語を発音する英語口（？）みたいなのを滑らかにするのに役立つことも、もしかしたらあるような気がします。（この物だけのことではないですが・・・。）
子供達なら輪唱とかもやってみると楽しいかもしれませんね。
また、どなたか書かれていますが、クリスマスシーズンにずっとBGMとしてかけていると、気分も盛り上がると思うし、ほんわかとした暖かい気持ちになれそうです。
子供達のクリスマス会のBGMの一つとしても使えると思います。

halloweenがとても楽しかったのでやはりこのシリーズは良かったのだなと
思い購入しましたが、これはいまいちのりが悪かったです。
他にいくつか持っていますがbabyやfingereplayはおすすめです。
☆が三つなのはそれでもこの値段でＣＤ６０分までついているのは
お得だからです。
