TM NETWORKが広く世間に認知されるようになったアルバムではないでしょうか。それほど曲のクオリティが高く感じられます。

アルバム前半は前作「GORILLA」で見せたスピード感のある元気な曲で埋められています(余談ですが、このアルバムはまだLPでも発売されていた頃なので、アルバム前半と後半はA面とB面で明確に曲調が分かれているという、懐かしい構成でもあります)。
個人的には、このアルバムのクライマックスは最後の２曲「Fool On The Planet」「Here,There & Everywhere」で決まりです。特に「Fool On The Planet」を初めて聴いた時はその曲調と歌詞に共感し、自然と涙があふれてきてしまいました。「Here,There & Everywhere」は、毎年冬になりオリオン座を空に見つけるとつい口ずさんでしまいます。

TM NETWORK の絶頂期にリリースされたこのアルバムは、TM NETWORK を語るには欠かせない。小室哲哉が繰り出すダンス・ミュージックも、木根尚人の織りなすバラードも、みな名曲ぞろいで何度聞いても飽き足りない。

後にリミックスが作成された『Maria Club』『Spanish Blue』『Fool On The Planet』などのオリジナルバージョンが収録されているので、聞き比べるのもまた楽しい。

プログレに学んだ丁寧な音の作りこみ、青春を題材にしてはいるが
非フォーク的な汗臭くない歌、少女漫画的な
ファンタジックな世界観、そしてSF。現在の日本のアニメやゲームが
追い求めている「これらを使ってクールな娯楽を生み出したい」という
命題を１５年以上前に答えとして出した一枚。
個々としてはオタク的な色眼鏡で敬遠されやすい要素を、見事に
集約して格好よさを感じるものに変換できている。
後年のアルバムと違い、単純にプロデュースのみにこだわって良い楽曲を
並べることに徹したことが結果的に大成功。「EXPO」にみられる宇都宮の
下手な演技など、今聴くと冷める要素が全く無いため、クールな印象を
今でも失っていない。
楽曲の高さは折り紙付き。全曲お勧め。現在チャートを賑わしているバンドの歌詞のレベルの低さがわかってしまうくらい、小室みつ子の歌詞が良い。
（もちろん小室自身も負けていない）
甘酸っぱすぎず、苦すぎないちょうど良いバランスで聴ける青春歌謡ばかり。
この作品に、小室の魅力と再浮上の手がかりがあるのではないか。
そう元（最初の１０年間のTMの小室のみ）小室ファンだった
人間は思うわけですよ。
