A good book if you are just starting to learn steel design. Some of the formulas and tables do not match the current AISC Specification (2005 Edition - free download in PDF) and/or the Steel Design Manual (13th Edition).

Absolutely worthless. If you understand the book, you don't need it. If you don't understand the book, it is unreadable. Does nothing to assist you. It is like looking at 50 tests that you either know already or you don't have a clue what you are looking at.

I bought this product to review for the Fundamentals of Engineering exam. I was planning on taking the civil section in the afternoon and had not taken any classes in structural steel. Glad I bought it for future reference as well!
