This was our first book from this series, and we loved it. It was just right for my 7-year-old son. I thought the author did a nice job at writing in a way my son could understand, and we enjoyed the cartoon illustrations that were drawn to go along with some of the text. The book included a few of Dali's most famous pieces (such as the melty clocks on the cover) and also some of his lesser known pieces. I thought the author did a great job of including a few memorable tidbits about the artist's life and style while still managing to squeeze in a bit of context for where Dali fit into the larger world of art. After reading this book, we also bought the book on Georges Seurat, and we enjoyed that one as well. We will certainly buy the others.
