英語育児３年の小学校２年生の娘向けに購入しました。 もともと日本語のバージョンは読んでいたので、洋書版をさがしているところにお得なボックスセットがあると知って購入しました。 可愛い本型のボックスに入っており、星型のネックレスまで付いて娘は大喜び！！
英文もシンプルなわかりやすい文が多く、洋書絵本をそろそろ卒業するお子さんにはオススメです。
このあとのバージョンでも同様のボックスセットがないか探しているほど満足の品でした。

This is the perfect "first set" of chapter books for a little girl. My granddaughter started reading the books at age 5. At 8 years old, she still loves the Daisy Meadow fairy books, and gets excited whenever a new series comes out. The series includes the Rainbow Fairies; Weather Fairies; Jewel Fairies; Pet Fairies; and Fun Day Fairies.
The individual paperbacks are a big plus. The size and weight makes them easy to handle and carry on trips, in the car, around the house, etc. And the price is right. (They make good birthday party gifts, too.)
Big hardbound chapter books (in my experience) are seldom read. They're too heavy and awkward for a child to use. If you want to encourage individual reading, you need books of the right size and weight for a child, and on topics they enjoy. Happily, these fairy books fit the bill!

Amazonが確認した購入
I was a little confused with the product picture... I thought it was one large book like adult style. This is actually a large holder for the individual series of books. It is much easier for my daughter to carry around one small book at a time. The cost is much less if you buy the whole series than each individual book and you get a great way to store them all together!

Perfect for Young Advanced Readers!

We stumbled upon these books this summer at the bookstore. My five year old daughter was ready to begin reading chapter books, but we were having a hard time finding chapter books that were of interest to- and appropriate for- a pre-schooler/kindergartner. She saw these books on display and was immediately taken by them. Books about Fairies! Perfect for my five year old girly girl, and although they do have goblins and a villain, the books aren't really scary or anything. She has read all the books in the Color Fairies, Weather Fairies, Jewel Fairies, Pet Fairies, and Fun Day Fairies Series. We are working on the Special Edition ones now, and she can't wait for the Petal Fairies to come out in February. I sure hope Daisy Meadows keeps on writing - and quick!
