Diane Crane works as a freelance craft tutor, running classes and workshops all over the south east of England. She specialises in quilling and won no fewer than three first prizes at the International Festival of Quilling in 2002. She is also twice Popular Vote Winner in the Knitting and Stitching Show's competitions. Diane loves working with paper and enjoys sharing her enthusiasm with other people. When she isn't busy quilling, she likes gardening and collecting quotations.

Incredibly wonderful!

Absolutely gorgeous projects with very clear, step-by-step directions ... and, if you're one of the countless quillers who gave up on roses, the exquisite roses shown here are simple spirals a child could make. Even if you don't make cards, these projects are suitable for framing, etc. Highest recommendation!

The book is a nice resource for beginning quillers. The first set of projects are very simple, and each project adds something new with respect to technique.

A Disappointing Purchase

I was very disappointed with this book. The pictures and instructions are clear. The designs shown are cute. However the book only shows six cards with a few variations. I would consider half the cards to be for children, not designs I would send to an adult. The information could have been a pamphlet not a full length book.
