Being diagnosed with sleep apnea can be bewildering. There are the results of the sleep study, trying to deal with the company that provides the CPAP, the difficulty getting accustomed to having air blown into your lungs all night long, and the threat that your insurance won't pay unless you use it nightly (for four hours or more). If the sleep center, your physician's office or the respiratory care company do not lead you by the hand, this book will provide answers to the questions you may have. I found it very helpful, and I don't think I would be using the CPAP every night now if it wasn't for the understanding I developed from reading this booklet.
