Quest of the Rune Sword is a well written thought out story that moves well and has all the elements that readers of this genre expect.
The characters are well developed and have interesting stories to tell. The interaction between them is quick and the dialog interesting.
It properly sets up the characters and leaves enough issues unanswered to make you want to read the next book, as the first in a trilogy should.

The Quest of the Rune Sword is a well written fantasy/scifi novel that can be enjoyed by everyone. It is written with authority and knowledge of the times and places described. Being a small part of the book (a painting) gave me great pleasure, but not nearly as much as when I read the book in its published state.
