I purchased this journal yesterday for about 2 bucks on clearance. I would not have spent $10 because the cover is made of cardstock--hence only 4 stars. $5-8 would be a fair price though. The journal is "paperback" (cardstock) so the cover is already showing some wear on the corners and is bending back from being held open. The binding is top notch though. It may be a paperback but is is bound like a good hardback. When openned (new), it lays as flat or flatter than some of the bestselling hardbacks you'd find.
There are three types of pages, one lined, one grid, and one blank. The journal is divided into thirds based on the type with the first third lined, the second third grid and the last third blank.
As the title says, this is a JOURNAL--not a collection of Yoshitomo Nara's works. The 1-star review is an unfair assessment.
