内容紹介

「Poser」は安価かつ手軽な3DCGソフトとして、多くのファンに親しまれ、ユーザ・コミュニティも活発に活動しています。最近は「YouTube」や「ニコニコ動画」などに、3DCGアニメーション作品を公開する人も増え、Poserが利用されています。
しかし、その解説書となると、対応バージョンが古かったり、初心者向けの入門書だったりで、レベルアップをはかりたいユーザが欲している情報とは少し隔たりがありました。
そこで、Poserコミュニティの有志が集まり、「ユーザのための本」を目指して執筆されたのがこの本です。

本書に触れることで、Poserの魅力やツールとしての可能性をもっともっと知ってもらえればうれしいです!

なお、本書はPoser7(SR3)をベースに解説していますが、Poser5,6でも、一部機能を除き利用が可能です。

このガイドブックは、いったいどんな人をターゲットにしているのか理解に苦しみます。
すごく単純な事を解説しているのですが、使っている用語が難しすぎて、ほとんど理解できません。
一応擁護の解説は、ずっと後のほうにあったりはするのですが、それがどこに書かれているのかが、初心者には全く理解できません。
Poserの使い方の解説本としては、落第なのですが、Poserについてくるリファレンスマニュアルの用語の解説集としては、かなりのものです。
リファレンスマニュアルで全く説明されていない用語や何をするのか分からない機能を知るには、役に立つ本です。
Poserを一応使えるようになり、さらに使いこなそうとする人が、Poserの機能を再チェックするのには良いかもしれませんが、既にそのような人は、試行錯誤でいろいろやっていると思いますから、この本を必要とする人が多いとは思えません。

POSERに関する書籍は、ほぼ持っています。
今までのものが、初級〜中級者向けでした。
それらの事を理解した上での、より掘り下げた内容になっています。
個人的には、大変満足しています！！！
POSERの「白」本、「黒」本と、この一冊があれば、
ほぼ、POSERと言うものは、理解でるのでは、ないでしょうか？
惜しむべきは、これほどの、内容と知識を持ちながら『作例が下手』です。
その点で、制作意欲を阻害しています。

作例編はヒドいです・・・操作手順と解説は別にしないと理解しにくいし、有料のフィギアを使っての操作手順というのはどうなんでしょう？？・・リファレンスにしてもPoser添付物の方がより詳しいです。。それに、使用字体の線が細く老眼には読みにくいです。。写真は奇麗なんですけどね・・
