Swan's book is a godsend to people trying to study and/or review the Polish language. It is lucidly presented, well done typographically. Don't let its small size fool you, this book is full of quality information, most of which has yet to be presented so ably in an English-language publication.

Too confusing 2010/5/15

Okay this is a good book but it is WAY too confusing. He starts his nouns chapter by telling you all the cases of nouns without explaining them. He uses terms such as "finite verbs" and "existential be" and it doesn't have explanations.
