A very Interesting Book

Different from the WOTC books, this has a lot more information and story related items that a lot of people will find useful. Some will feel there isn't enough game mechanics. I beg to differ. Captures the feel of the Scarred Lands very well.

A great book for the Scarred Lands (I really like the prestige classes, especially the Slaver of the Dead), but every other spell and whatnot is referenced as being in another book-half way through I forgot what the little * referenced what book.
Some of the fluff is interesting-for instance they had a section on bardic songs and what song could be sung or played for a specific bardic spell.

This book is of good value if you are running a Scarred Lands game. But I find the information to be so specific that it wont make a easy fit to other settings.
There are plenty of feats and prestige classes to keep every one happy, as well as some new ideas about cabals and sorcerer tradtions (blood lines)
