そのときにケーキの形やデザインにもこだわりたいと思い、いろいろ探しましたが、日本のケーキは段々の定番的なものしかなくて物足りないなあと思っていたら、この本に出会いました。

・日本であまり見たことのないような珍しいデザインのケーキ事例が豊富
・A4よりも５センチくらい背が低い正方形の本です
・写真がきれいでとってもフォトジェニックです
・おいしく見えるケーキで、かつデザインが凝っているケーキがある
（よく美しいけどおいしくなさそうなケーキってありますが、この本にのっているものはどれもおいしそうです）
・レシピも詳しく載っている（手作りするつもりの方にもおすすめ）
・季節ごとにおすすめのケーキが紹介
・サイズも大小さまざまなのでレストランウェディングからゴージャスなホテルウェディングまで選べます
