金曜日に届いたので早速日曜に試し撮りしてきました。
iA（インテリジェント・オート）というお任せモードにすると、被写体をカメラが判別して、自動で風景・人物・動くもの・接写に最適なモードに切り替わるのは他人に撮ってもらうときにいいですね。

広角27mmから18倍ズームも手ぶれ機能がよく働いて十分使い物になります。iAモード以外では画素数を変更することで、最大35倍までの光学ズームが使用できます（静止画のみ）。

静止画はもちろんですが、ハイビジョンの動画は感動的にきれいです。
1台で静止画も動画も高画質で記録できて、写真で見るよりはるかにコンパクトで軽いので、お散歩カメラでも高画質を求める方に最適です。

運動会で使ってみました。結論を言いますと、非常に満足しています。
EX光学ズーム28倍(500万画素)ですと、小学校の 200m トラックの逆端にいる子供を撮影しても、全身ショットが撮れます。手ぶれ補正の効きも素晴らしく、これだけのズームでも、手ぶれによるミスはありませんでした。
液晶モニタも大きいので、カメラを双眼鏡代わりにして、肉眼では確認できない我が子を、液晶モニタで追えます。
デフォルトの設定では、撮影後に 2秒間液晶モニタがオートレビューで止まる設定になっていますので、動く子供をズームで撮りますと、撮った後に子供を見失ってしまいます。スポーツモードにして、オートレビューをOFFにすると、若干ましかもしれません。(それでも、0.5秒ぐらい？液晶モニタの表示が止まります。)
カメラに詳しくない自分の腕にしては、いい写真が撮れたと思います。

撮影に関する事は他の方が書かれているのでそれ以外について。

同クラスの高倍率カメラと比較すると かなり軽い部類に入るカメラです。
量販店で他のカメラを手に取り比べてみましたが、100ｇ程度の差でもかなり軽く感じます。
重いカメラは持ち出すのが億劫になるし、一日中首から提げて撮り歩くと辛いです。

バッテリーは持ちが良く、日帰りで静止画だけなら予備は必要ないと思います。
(動画を撮る場合は必要だと思います。）

オートにしておけばカメラの知識が無くても誰でもキレイに撮れるし操作も簡単。動画も撮れる。
良く出来たカメラだと思います。
おすすめです。

予備バッテリー＆カメラケースはこちらがオススメ。
