My son and I both love this book

I bought this for my son. He is an avid collector and fan of both LEGO and Star Wars. Its been over 6 months since I bought it, and he still picks this for story time at least once a week. Cute, fun story for kiddies and grown ups. Humorous. GREAT illustrations.
I would also the Blue Ray/DVD. Bought it for my 'lil guy at Christmas, and it was an instant favorite. Lots of awesome extras/bonus features.

There are better books in the series.

Of all the Lego Star Wars and Lego books from Scholastic, this is the only one I find is over the heads of the intended audience. The images are very dark or subdued compared to the rest of the Lego books by Scholastic. This book is an adaptation of a TV special and I feel that something was missed. Overall a first disappointment in a great series.
