5.0 out of 5 stars 新たなステップへ向けた１つの区切り, 2007/2/21
36巻に始まり、この44巻で「水の都編」は完結します。
皆さんもお気づきの通り、この「水の都編」から一気にシリアス度がアップし、作者の意気込みが強く感じられます。
ロビンの過去に加え、世界政府への宣戦布告。ワンピース全体の中で重要な位置を占める物語だったのではないでしょうか。
話の展開もよく練りこまれており、ただただ面白いの一言に尽きます。
正直、空島編では、多少のマンネリ感と取ってつけたような物語に不満があったのですが
「水の都編」で作者の真髄を改めて思い知らされました。

ところでこの巻の中に、これまでで最も気に入った場面があります。
CP9との戦闘後万全ではないゾロ達に、200人の大佐が一斉に襲いかかるシーンです。
裁く者、運命に抗う者。
スペースが中サイズなので少し地味ですが、残酷で、美しい映画のようなシーンだと思います。
もちろんこの他にも印象的なシーンが数多くありました。

-以下は少し話がずれますが。
ワンピースが殺人漫画ではない点を、私は気に入っています。
残酷な描写や殺し合いよりも、友情や人とのつながりを大事にしています。
尾田栄一郎氏はコメントではああやってふざけてはいても、実際はとても深く物事を考えている人です。
本当の正義、人の命の重さ、そして人が全力で生きることの素晴らしさ。←ちょっとクサすぎたかｗｗ
作品の裏には、そういったものが描かれていると思うのです。

このまま弛むことなく、全力疾走してもらいたいものです。

エニエス・ロビー編完結。
長かったCP9との激闘も、ルフィ対ルッチの戦いと共に終焉を迎えます。
ロビンの救出。メリー号の最後。34巻からずっと繋がっていた物語の決着だと思うと、思わずため息が出てしまいます。読者に、作者に、登場人物たちにも、お疲れ様と言いたくなります。
CP9を倒し、強すぎる感は否めないルフィ一行ですが、それがあまり気にならないのは、作品の舵がそういった戦闘能力の天秤だけに依存していないということでしょう。物語の主軸に絡んできたロビンの重い運命ですが、それに見合うだけの強さを、作者がルフィ達に求めた結果がこの巻、この展開だと思えば頷けます。
そしてどんな強敵より、メリー号の最後の‘ありがとう，の方が脳天に響いてきます。それが、作品の良さであり強みなのでしょう。
ここまで本当に、お疲れ様です。
これからも応援します。頑張れ！麦わら海賊団！

この巻はこれまで冒険を共にした船との別れで終ります。近く別れが来ることは伏線から読めましたが、こんな脚本・演出が用意されているとは予想せず、思わず目がうるみました。船へのこだわりを持っていたウソップが覆面なのもこの結末のための演出のように感じます。
ごく最近ONE PIECEは面白いと勧められて読み始めましたが、あっという間に最新巻まで購入してしまいました。伏線が巧妙で一度読んだだけでは分からないことが多いのですが、これだけ長く続く理由が分かった気がします。最後までこの冒険譚を見届けたいです。
