子供が産まれたのを機に、単焦点レンズを探していました。知人の紹介で言われるがままにこのレンズを買いましたが、実に楽しい！一眼で撮る事がこんなに楽しいのかと思い知らされます。楽しいだけでなく、使いやすいし、軽いし。D70を使っているのですが、レンズキットの標準レンズと、このレンズ。それと300ミリくらいの望遠があれば、入門編としては十分なのでは？35ミリか50ミリかと悩むことはあるかもしれませんが、部屋の中で撮る事も考えるなら、絶対こっちがお勧めです。

写真の腕を磨こうと、標準レンズが欲しくて、
35mm換算で52.5mmとなるこのレンズを購入しました。
D80で使用していますが、ズームレンズに比べてコンパクトで持ち歩きも楽なので、
ちょっとした外出の際は、いつもD80＋35mmF2Dという組み合わせで出掛けています。
なにより解放付近で使用した際のぼけ味が気に入っています。
暗いところでの撮影にもF2という明るさは大きな味方です。

ニコンのレンズをいろいろ使ってきましたが、その中では平均的な性能のレンズだと思います。一般的なスナップなどの用途には、特に欠点はなく、破綻のない安定した写真が撮れます。ただ、他社のさまざまな３５ミリレンズに比べてしまうと、解像度にやや不満を感じます。一般的な基準では決して性能が悪いわけではないのですが、出来上がった写真を見て「おっ！」と思わせるところがないのが、少々寂しいです。ニコンのＡＦ用35ミリは他に選択肢がないので、これを使うしかありませんが、できたらF1.4クラスで高性能版も出してほしいところです。
