前モデルのVR無しと比べると、明らかに解像度が上がっています（その分値段も上がっていますが）。
さらにこいつのVRは強力で、条件が良ければテレ端（300mm）で手持ち1/30のシャッター速度でもブレずに撮影できます。
特に前モデル（VR無し）の70-300mmをお使いの方には、こちらに買い換えることを強くお勧めします（自分もその口でした）。

これまで、あまり、超長焦点レンズを使うケースがなかったのですが、この元旦、湘南海岸より、赤富士を撮りたいと思い立ち、このレンズも、携行しました。

いざ、撮影しようと、まず、取り出したのは、このレンズです。３００ｍｍいっぱいにして、撮るのが、最適、と感じました。この赤富士を背景にして、人物も撮り込みたいばあいは、８０ｍｍ程度にして、撮れば、記念写真も、ＯＫでした。ズームレンズの重宝さを味わいました。

このレンズ、極めて、使い勝手がよいと実感しました。

なんと言っても、手ぶれ防止機能「ＶＲ２」がもつ威力に、ほとほと感服しました。早朝でありながら、手持ちで、充分満足できる仕上がりでした。

ご参考になれば、と思います。

このレンズで自衛隊の航空ショウや　自動車のSUPER GTなどいろいろ撮影してみました。
写真始めたばかりの　素人でもうまく撮れていました。
Jリーグでもシュートシーンも撮れました。
少し重いですが使っていて楽しくなるレンズだと　思います。
