Stop reading this review, do an Internet search, and try a few available poems by Wendy Videlock and see. Then get this book for the full load of solid and variable wordplay and insight. Sorry for the short review, but I don't want to hurt this book by having you think it's as clumsy as this here prose. Videlock is my favorite living poet. Her poetry and voice are evolving and surprising, vibrant and organic. Comparing her work to other poets is a mistake not because there is no comparison but because it tends to miss what is new here.
