This is a terrific book and one that you will be proud to share with others. One of the best of its kind that I have read, it captures images of nature that are rarely, if ever, seen. Quality production values, too.

I bought this book for a couple of reasons. First, I enjoy nature photography and do a bit myself, and my wife is a birder. Second, we are planning a trip to Costa Rica, and although photography is on the agenda this is to be principally a family vacation. We were delighted to find that this is, for us at least, an all-round resource: a guidebook, a wildlife reference, and a collection of splendid photography. The book is very nicely done, well organized, and beautiful. The photographs, especially the birds, are very well done, indeed. Printing quality and paper are very good. Highly recommended.
